Supporting children with SEND in UK schools

SEN-Ed helps teachers, SENCOs and school leaders plan, deliver and evidence SEND provision.

What SEN-Ed is

SEN-Ed is an education service for UK schools. It supports inclusive practice, graduated response, and provision mapping for pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). The service is intended for use by education professionals only, not by children directly.

What it helps with

Safeguarding and data

Safeguarding. We design our service with safeguarding in mind and support schools’ own policies. The service is for use by adults only (education professionals). It is not intended for use by children directly.

School-controlled data. Data is held in line with your school’s arrangements and role-based access. We do not use pupil or school data for marketing. Our processing supports the delivery of the service to education professionals.

Secure hosting. The service is hosted on Google Firebase with data stored in regions suitable for UK/EU use. We follow standard security practices and do not make exaggerated claims about security.
